Learning principles

As an authorised World School for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), along with offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Cambridge Secondary 1(CS1) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the academic programme is designed to offer the young people who attend Raffles the opportunity to establish a very sound base for future studies after they finish school, as well as a solid platform for life beyond the school's boundaries. RWA aims to ensure your child's experiences as a Raffles student are based on teaching techniques that are both theoretically sound, yet practical, to the extent where the learning experience is both stimulating and enjoyable. The school's ultimate goal is to assist the development of enquiring, thoughtful and considerate young minds – to make learning stimulating, challenging, meaningful and enjoyable. RWA seeks to ignite the fire for learning and harness the potential in order that young people have a thoroughly well-rounded learning experience, in its broadest terms.
